TTAG to government, close down colleges of education.....

In a recent held press conference by the Trainee Teachers Association of Ghana, they made it clear that the 7000 recruitment of teachers is an acceptable as they were promised to recruit over 60000 workers into the Ghana Education Service in 2025 but they seen this as a failed promised by the Minister  of Education.

TTAG made their stand clear to the  government to restore automatic posting that was previously been used to recruit teachers into the system with a smooth transition.

They also made it clear that government to give them a clear a insight on what plan they have for the unemployed teachers after recruiting the 7000 teachers.

As part of the demands of the TTAG to government of Ghana is to close down the colleges of education and employ the backlog of teachers before opening the colleges of education again and in that case will help to resolve this issue of unemployment of teachers.
